March

A trip to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) for preschool. Everyone had a great time!! Here they're building an arch with a keystone. Very cool.

The sand is always a hit. It's so soft and sparkly and white! :) For sure Brookie's favorite spot!
Our good friend Logan doing some people watching. OMSI is a great place to watch people. There's so much going on!!

More sand.

Hmmm...

We went down to Corvallis to visit our friends, Cody and Trish. Trish and I took the kids on a little hiking adventure. They had a blast! Do you love the Christmas dress? Brookie's into designing her own look... every day...

We went out to Silver Falls with our dear friends, the Jacobsons.  Our picnic was awesome and so was the hike. I think our budding scout scarred everyone for life when he decided it was great to use a tree as a potty in front of all the girls. Sorry ladies. That's just kinda how boys are...

Playing with sticks.

We need to swap pictures. Melanie was the picture queen that day!!

Playing with balls. I never would have thought to bring balls to the falls, but everyone loved it!! Thanks Melanie!

Can you tell he's Tyler's son. He likes to climb on EVERYTHING!

I'm sad these were so blurry. I needed to post them anyway though to document the accomplishment of summiting the slippery slope. :)

A happy hiker. This girl is always happy when she's outside!

The crew at the end of the trail. Pretty sure the kiddos would have kept going right into the water, but it was a little chilly.

Two buddies. Coleman adores Amber!

Exploring.

Jess imagining a fairy kingdom among all the mossy trees.

More exploring and enjoying nature!

Having a great time!!

Melanie and Becky.

Brookie.

Two buddies on a bridge.

Playing in the snow. All in all, a wonderful day!!

Brookie doing my hair.

She's actually pretty good. :)

Dad is fun. He's so tough and can get them going really fast in the laundry basket. :)

Play doh. A favorite pastime.

With our friend, Greg.

Building our first real Lego model. Lightning McQueen! It was a hit (for both of them) and we're really proud of Cole. If you point to the instructions and help him remember the order, he can orient the pieces and place them correctly. :) Way to go buddy!

The Legos were his suprise for patching. He's wearing an eye patch 2 hours a day to strengthen his weaker eye - hoping it will improve to where his other eye is... here's hopin!  The Legos seemed to distract him from thinking about how grumpy patching makes him.
Note: He's much better and easy going about it now. :)

Way to go, BUD!
