April

April was a fun month. We had a visit from Grandma Marilee and Uncle Trent, lots of fun with friends and plenty of other crazy and fun stuff to do. It was busy!!!

Grandma is really fun! She made cookies with us!

We took a ride on the Carousel in downtown Salem. It's a favorite of everyone!!

Uncle Trent gives it a thumbs up and so does Coleman.

We brought our friend, Logan, with us. He's always fun to have around. :)

Uncle Trent thought it was cool that the Google maps car was in our neighborhood. We found out later that he was dating our neighbor. :) Sorry Trent. You probably won't be in any of Google's new pictures... :(

Thrilled to be going swimming with Grandma and Uncle Trent!!

Playing "doctor" with Dad. :) He's definitely a better patient for them than he is for real doctors. :)

Our ward egg hunt. It was a blast! They frosted cookies, dyed eggs, hunted for eggs AND saw the Easter Bunny! Fabulous!!

Dyeing eggs at home. :) Thanks for the dye LeAnne!!

IS she really my daughter? She likes boiled eggs, sortof. :)

Hmmm...
He does too - sortof.

Brookie and her dear friend, Becky, playing in their matching dresses in the back yard on Easter. We were happy to spend the day with our friends, the Jacobsons. :) Melanie and her girls made matching dresses for her 3 girls and Brookie too. Wish I had a picture of all of them together.

That's my girl! Playing in a brand new dress in the grass and dirt (barefoot). :)

Amber and Coleman

Coleman's our little builder. He's really quite good. He loves these Trios - they make really cool weapons!

Brookie's practicing washing her hands.

The diva look

We had dessert one night with our friends, the Springers. Found all the kids on Brookie's bed watching Tangled. :) Kinda funny.  What cuties!

Our preschool field trip to the tulip gardens - the tulips were so beautiful and the kids really had a good time despite the rain. :)

That's my girl! :) We're working at our shared plot at the community garden. The Jacobsons were willing to share their space with us and we've got lots of fun stuff growing already!! This day we were spreading bark to make paths between the plots.

This guy LOVES the garden!! He's a good worker too - especially when it has to do with anything dirty!

The 2 Musketeers

We're glad Dad and Taylor were the buff guys doing the hauling! Good job dudes!

Jessie the water girl!

...and a little playing too. :)

Mountain climbing

Busy - just not quite sure what doing. :)

Buff Melanie!

And Buff Tyler

The motley crew. :)

We made the trek to Utah again for another extended vacay. :) These are the first pictures I took (I didn't take nearly as many as I wish I had). We did spend a fun day at the new Natural History Museum! Very cool!

Sitting in a dinosaur footprint (or poot frint as we call them)

Checking out some prehistoric friends

Learning about how they made ropes

Erosion? Not quite sure, but it was cool.

Eden and Grandpa

Scott and Leanne blessed Eden while we were there. It was so special to be there with them. She's such a darling little girl. It was wonderful to get a bit of a chance to get to know her.

My big face (Thanks, Ty)

It was so fun to see these cute cousins together. They all love each other so much. And it was love at first sight as far as Cole and Brookie were concerned when they met "Baby Eden"
