Brookie's 2!!

Wow! It seems like Brookie has grown up in a flash. These 2 years have been so fun watching her grow and add her flair to our family. Here's a little about what she's up to these days -

Favorite things to do-

play outside (doing anything!!), push her stroller with or without a baby in it, swing at the park, run back and front along the sidewalk in front of our house, play with friends, swim, stickers, washing dishes, coloring/drawing (she likes to make concentric circles...), wrestle with Tyler and Coleman, cuddle, dress ups, playing in the kiddie pool, puzzles, read, talk on the phone, tease her brother, play on the Starfall website, watch Tangled and Dalmations (up until about a month ago she didn't want to have anything to do with TV, but she's fallen in love with "REEpunzel" and "My-gene," "The Bad Lady" and "Max-mus."

Favorite color -

definitely PINK but she has an eye for bright colors in general

Favorite foods -

she'll try anything - crab, shrimp, salsa, mustard, you name it

real favorites are noodles with or without any type of sauce, PB&J, Nutella, ham, turkey, pizza, grapes, apples, pears, fruit leather, fruit snacks, raisins, trail mix, cereal (especially anything Tyler's eating), bread, milk, chocolate milk, broccoli, salad, purple cabbage (probably because it's purple), cucumbers, Lunchables, crackers, pretzels, hamburgers

Favorite places -

the park (only parks with swings), her stroller (even though we haven't used it much lately - must make her feel special to be pushed around), Costco, Home Depot, nursery, Kroc Center, OMSI, the zoo, the library, childrens museum, "Macky's house," "Andrew and Beck's house," our room, the bathroom, the garage, and the kitchen

Brookie's one burst of energy from sun-up to sun-down, but she still finds time to cuddle with us. She's quite the social butterfly and loves to just have a good chat. She likes to give you the play-by-play of anything that's happening - especially over the phone. She likes to call Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Scott, Uncle Trevor and Raegan. :) Such a funny little lady!

Brookie and Coleman are partners in crime lateley. They love to sneak off together or hide under the covers in our bed together. I find them often under the kitchen table sharing contraband from the pantry - usually jelly beans or chocolate chips. It tickles me that they like to be together (even if it is in the name of mischief...) She's adored by her older brother and she is his little carbon copy. She wants to do everything he does. What a joy they both are!
