We've been dying to go camping for a long time and we've talked and talked about it with our friends - WE FINALLY MADE IT! We made it late. It was crazy. We pitched our tents in the dark on rocks and hills next to a highway, but we made it! :) We survived our crazy kiddos and the dangers of camping (and the sleeplessness) and managed to have a terrific time! The kids, I think, especially enjoyed being outside and being with friends. We sang songs, ate yummu food - Brookie had her first s'more. :) - she's a big fan! It was grand! I reccomend Detroit Lake (but find a spot closer to the lake and farther from the road...). We saw some cool mushrooms, went on walks, chilled around the fire and all in all had a good time. Thanks Kelly, Sally, Clara and John for accompanying us on this wild adventure.

I haven't visited your blogg forever and thought it was about time. You (and Tyler) are quite the photographer(s)! Wonderful photos! Can't believe how fast Brookie and Cole are growing up! What cute, cute, cute kids!! Their Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma Neff, and their Auntie Anna (among millions of others) are sure excited to see them -- and you! :) Have a safe, EASY trip!
Your kids are getting so big! Tay told me that you guys are for sure going to be here for Christmas!!! I can hardly wait to get everyone together! Give Brooke and Cole a kiss for me, glad you're enjoying Oregon so well!
Golly Schucks! Your photos just amaze me! I wish I could have gone with you guys to the zoo. It looks like you had so much fun. Camping looks like so much fun too. Miss you more already.
Looks like fun. Your pictures of Portland are beautiful. I am not sure if it is the photographer or the place. Eric had a job offer in Portland, that you make we wish we took sometimes... for both the place and the photographer!
You guys are so fun! I wouldn't dare take our kids camping. You've inspired me- maybe next summer we'll give it a try.
